TIB Development Bank Limited is Development Finance Institutions (DFI) wholly owned by the Government of United Republic of Tanzania. The bank has been establishedand exists under the Companies Act, 2002. The main focus of TIB DevelopmentBank as a premier national DFI is on national projects that aim at the attainment of the Tanzanian Development Vision 2025. The bank’s mandate is tosupport the Government in achieving rapid economic growth through the development of industries, infrastructure, services sectors, as well as oil and gas sectors. In this regard, activities of TIB Development Bank have specifically expanded and the bank now invites suitable, qualified and skilled applicants to fill the vacant position at the Directorate of Human Resources andAdministration:-

Nature and Scope

The successful candidate will report to Manager, Human Resources, She/ he will be responsiblein all matters related to Human ResourcesManagement and Development including recruitment and selection, compensation,benefits and employee relations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities are as follows

                                        i.     Toprepare, implement, monitor and review Human Resources policies and proceduresand other working  tools (documents)
                                      ii.     Toprovide relevant interpretation on labor laws, public services Act, Public Services Regulations , Public Services standing Order, and other terms of employment and conditions of work
                                    iii.     Tosupervise staff recruitment, leaves,  induction,orientation of new employees include issuance of their relevant Jobdescriptions
                                    iv.     To participate in identification of Training NeedAssessment (TNA) for all directorates and formulate implementation programs andmonitor to address those needs
                                      v.     Toensure  relevant Human resources records are kept and updated as required both electronically and physical
                                    vi.    Ability to build effective relationships with all employees in way of  giving relevant guidance advice  on risks perceived for both employee and bank
                                  vii.    Ability to prepare and run monthly payroll and handle leaves applications of alldirectorates
                                viii.     Tooversee and coordinate all social schemes, medical insurances deductions andprompt payments to relevant authorities or schemes
                                    ix.     To oversee  and coordinate all employees and industrialrelations includes meeting with workers council and trade unions issues
                                      x.     To coordinate and oversee the HR directorate budget its adherences and advise on its implementation
                                    xi.     Tocoordinate HR monthly and quarterly reports and exit interview 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
                                        i.     BachelorDegree or Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management, Public Administration or related field obtained from a recognized institution.
                                      ii.     Possession of a Masters’ Degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration will be added advantage.
                                    iii.     Minimum of 6 years working experience of which 3 years must be of senior level in HumanResources or in related function at a reputable institution.
                                    iv.     Conversantwith Public Services Standing Order, Public Services Act, Employment and Labour Relations Act and its Code of Good Practices and labor laws applications ingeneral
                                      v.     Excellent in written and oral communication both in English and Kiswahili.
                                    vi.     Conversant in drafting working documents both in English and Kiswahili.
