Muslim University of Morogoro (MUM) invites suitably qualified Tanzanian and non-Tanzanian candidates to apply for admission into various degree programs shown below for academic year 2018/2019.
Candidates must fill in the Application Form online through www.mum.ac.tz, and give full academic, birth and personal information.
NB: The deadline for Application is 31st August, 2018.
Admission Requirements
Candidates who wish to study at Muslim University of Morogoro (MUM) may apply through the following categories:
Category A: Direct Entry Qualification - Minimum Requirements:
- Two principal passes for Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) related to the program applying for with THREE Credit passes of a Certificate in Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) in approved subjects appropriate to the program applying for, obtained prior to sitting for Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE). For details of required qualification and combination for degree programs, see the table below:

NB: The above points in ACSEE are based on the following scales:
ACSEE BEFORE 2014
A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1, S= O.5.
ACSEE 2014 & 2015
A = 5, B+ = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1, E= O.5.
ACSEE AFTER 2015
A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1, S = O.5.
Category B: Equivalent Qualifications - Minimum Requirement:
Applicants eligible for equivalent admission for an undergraduate degree program must hold one of the following qualifications:
- Certificate of an Ordinary Diploma with GPA of not less than 3.0.
- Certificate of an Academic Diploma obtained from higher learning institution with an overall average not below B grade
In addition to qualifications stipulated above, applicants must have THREE Credits in their Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) results, plus one principal pass and a Subsidiary in their Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) results. OR they must hold an NTA-4 Certificate in relevant field.
