COMMISSION Partnership Joint Standing (Jpcc) between Tanzania and Malawi, the countries intends to meet to discuss various issues, including the arrest of eight Tanzanians in the country on suspicion of entering the mining area of without a permition.
In addition to discussing the issue of Tanzanians, but also the commission will discuss the border dispute between the two countries on Lake Nyasa.
The conference is expected to begin on February 3 to 5 this year in Malawi.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam, Head of Communication and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the South East, Mindi Kasiga said the commission couldn't meet for a long time, which has caused people to have a tension between cooperation of the two countries.
Kasiga said the commission's meeting, lastly held in 2003 in Dar es Salaam, it was silent for a long time there are some people thought that the cooperation of the two countries is not good.
"Sitting like this many years sat a little ... there are issues delayed implementation due to stay for this session, but currently implemented through these meetings," said Kasiga.
He added that for the first time, it is intended to incorporate business sessions from Njombe and Ruvuma regions, also fishermen from the provinces who will explain how they do their activities in collaboration with their counterparts in Malawi without intervention.
Mindi said at the meeting, the Tanzanian delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the South East, Ambassador Dr. Augustine Mahiga;and off to discuss border dispute Lake Nyasa and the arrested Tanzanians, also will discuss various issues in the sectors of trade, education, agriculture and other sectors.
Kasiga also handed awards Regulatory Authority of Social Security Sector (SSRA) with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) had won from the African Union (AU). SSRA which has become the first in the Creativity Award in the Public Sector in Africa (AAPSIA), was presented with a certificate cup victory.
The victory gained through their project project databases of the National Social Protection Sector.
